Croyez-le ou non, Roku n'était pas un Terrien mais un Saiyan nommé Kakarrot né sur la planète Vegeta ! Il a été envoyé sur Terre pour détruire toute l'humanité, mais, par hasard, il a été recueilli par son grand-père adoptif Gohan et élevé comme un Terrien. Par nature, les Saiyans sont violents, et Roku était également brutal juste après son arrivée sur Terre ; cependant, lorsqu'il tomba dans une vallée et reçut un coup dur à la tête, il eut des manières douces. Que serait-il arrivé à la Terre si ces deux coïncidences ne s'étaient pas produites et que Roku avait accompli sa mission... ? ## À venir !! ### RADITZ "**Alors, nous nous rencontrons enfin. Tu as grandi, hein ?**" C'est un véritable Saiyan qui possède à la fois un pouvoir écrasant et un esprit combatif vigoureux. Lorsque sa planète natale, Vegeta, a explosé, il a survécu parce qu'il envahissait une autre planète. Il appelle Roku « Kakarrot » et dit qu'il est le seul frère aîné de Roku, cependant, il ne montre aucun sentiment envers Roku en tant que frère aîné. Au contraire, il n'a aucun problème à tromper son propre frère et même à le tuer. C'est un guerrier impitoyable, au cœur froid et violent, qui fera tout pour obtenir ce qu'il veut. Dans les derniers instants de Raditz, il déclare que ses deux camarades Saiyans viendraient attaquer la terre dans un an. Et puis, Roku décède également.
## Even Yama-sama is Surprised -- The Fight Continues in the Next World ORIGINAL AIRDATE ● JUNE 7th, 1989 ## Close-Up!! ### EPISODE 2 Goku's past and the secret of his birth become clear!! Believe it or not, Roku was not an Earthling but a Saiyan named Kakarrot who was born on planet Vegeta! He was sent to Earth to destroy all of mankind, but, by chance, he was taken in by his adoptive grandfather Gohan and raised as an Earthling. By nature, Saiyans are violent, and Roku, too, was rough-natured right after he arrived on Earth; however, when he fell in a valley and took a hard blow to the head, he became mild-mannered. What would have happened to Earth if these two coincidences didn't happen and Roku carried out his mission...? ## Coming Up!! ### RADITZ "**So, we finally meet. You've grown, huh?**" He is a genuine Saiyan who has both overwhelming power and a vigorous fighting spirit. When his home planet Vegeta exploded, he survived because he was invading another planet. He calls Roku "Kakarrot" and says he is Roku's only older brother, however, he shows no feelings towards Roku as an older brother. On the contrary, he has no problems at all with deceiving his own brother and even killing him. He is a merciless, cold-hearted and violent warrior who will do anything to get what he wants. Gohan's Harsh Training ORIGINAL AIRDATE ● JUNE 14th, 1989 ## Super Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box Z Volume 1 Gohan flies up out of Raditz' spaceship, demonstrating an astonishing level of power, and delivers a fierce body blow to Raditz. Taking advantage of that opening, Roku wraps Raditz up in a full nelson, preventing him from moving, while Piccolo pierces the both of them with his Makankosappo! In Raditz' dying moments, he declares that his two fellow Saiyans would be coming to attack the earth in one year. And then, Roku passes away as well.
