But I wouldn't have Vegeta wait until the Cell Games are over to unlock SS, he already struggled with it for the entirety of the Namek arc, with all that build up he better be stronger than Jiren when he gets the form. And having three SS being unable to deal with the androids raised the stakes much more than just one of them losing. Perhaps, the answer would've been to soften Vegeta a little bit due to the Bulma effect, just enough for him to be able to unlock the form. Expedite the Bulma effect just a little. And while it does undermine the previous theme (and the legend itself), the technicality that he has a pure heart, a pure evil one is pretty funny. It was done at the right time. Plus the concept of a pure heart to reach Super Saiyan was sketchy at best. Goku just kind of mentions he’s pure of heart during his I Am The Super Saiyan Son Goku” speech and Kurrin somehow claims that’s an actual factor 5 years later when Vegeta does. He thought I was misrepresenting his work by saying he wasn't in something he was in. I explained how that wasn't the situation & did a bit of a sarcastic kinda thing involving the rerecordings FUNi did for the Z dub to show how stupid that was. He said they didn't record him & not use his recordings. Blocked & he deleted his response tweets to me. ??? Profit...?
